Where is my period??!?

Hello!

Has anyone got any idea where it might be as I appear to have misplaced my period...

My last period ended on 30/4/20 and nothing... I think I ovulated around the middle of the month.

I have taken three pregnancy tests over the last few days - all negative.

If I was pregnant it would be a disaster, physically, mentally and financially so if I am I need to know.

I have been having sex - using condoms

How long should I wait before doing something? And what is that something? My GP??

Very anxious about it!

Mine has disappeared too, same timescale. I assumed stress? Everyday I keep thinking it will come that day but nadda...maybe physical exertion from Joe Wicks daily?? So sorry, same situation, no idea.

terriblyangryattimes · 02/06/2020 22:16

I have had one very light period since april, am normally v regular and not pregnant. I think its covid related stress!

absolutehush · 02/06/2020 22:20

I've tried all my usual tricks - wore light trousers, had sex, bought and did a pregnancy test... nothing!

I can only assume it's waiting to swoop down on me, twice as heavy at a really inconvenient moment.

Mine was two weeks late. I had pms and tender breasts and a bit of cramping but no period. Very weird.

StandardLampski · 02/06/2020 22:32

Ah - I appear to have them all! As i havn't stopped since about then Hmm

absolutehush · 02/06/2020 22:41

@StandardLampski please give mine back, thank you! I need it to put my mind at rest...

I just read an article about how 40% of women have wonky periods now because of COVID stress. Mine's the opposite from yours, I'm getting mine every 2 weeks. Confused

sleepwhenidie · 02/06/2020 22:45

Could be covid stress, could be covid! There are a couple of threads on this....I’ll try and link

HotCrossBungle · 02/06/2020 22:52

Have you tried down the back of the couch?

jerometheturnipking · 02/06/2020 22:52

I’m with you OP. 4 days late and it’s pissing me off. I might go for a run tomorrow with no emergency backup pantyliner to see if that brings it ok.

Monkey500 · 02/06/2020 23:11

It's waving and laughing at you while it pisses off on it's holiday - as it's the only bastard allowed to take one Hmm

Hotwaterbottlelove · 02/06/2020 23:15

Sorry, think I picked up yours by mistake. I'm sitting here a week early in agony as I didn't catch the pain early enough.

MrsBlondie · 03/06/2020 00:36

2 weeks late here too. Putting it down to stress.

absolutehush · 04/06/2020 21:28

Starting this thread appears to have been the kickstart I needed as it has finally turned up!

Mine has finally started too, a week late.

isthismylifenow · 05/06/2020 16:34

Wow. Mine was also late. I didn't even put it down all the stress but it makes sense.

OP you just know the flood gates are going to open at the worst possible time now. Just because that is how things seem to be right now.

MujeresLibres · 05/06/2020 16:34

Mine was a week late this month and 2 weeks early last time. Apparently erratic periods during the pandemic is so common, research projects are underway (Caroline Criado Perez was publicising one on her Twitter feed a couple of weeks ago).

isthismylifenow · 05/06/2020 16:34

I read the update now.

absolutehush · 05/06/2020 19:28

@isthismylifenow you weren't wrong about it turning up at a bad time, though.

Also it's a worse period than normal, more backache etc etc

I am secretly hoping that I'll be a stone thinner/lighter on the other side though. I've been blaming my jeans on fitting on the way pre period bloat. Wishful thinking I suspect!
