Mirena Pain

Hi,

I've had the Mirena coil fitted for a year now and when I got it fitted I had bad cramps in my lower abdomen, legs and back. I got it checked in case it was in the wrong place but all was fine. A year on and I have the same pains again and not only that but I'm finding myself slightly constipated and not sure if it's related. Has Mirena caused pain this long after for anyone else? Did you get digestive issues? I think I need to book a GP appointment but it's worrying me not knowing if it's the coil or an issue with my bowels! It was put in after a termination, not sure if that would effect anything

I got a mirena 6 months ago. Intially I did get cramps - only light ones for the first few weeks. After the first 6 weeks , it has been once mid cycle and 2-3 days before period , they are not bad but I can feel them.
