Missed miscarriage and trying to get pregnant again

This is my first post so hopefully I’m doing this right Hmm

In January I had a missed miscarriage and since then my periods which used to be very regular are not anymore.

We was going to try again straight away for a baby after I had had my first period. Obviously the world was going a bit mad so we decided to wait until this is all over.

So my problem is..
My periods are coming sooner and sooner the second cycle was 29 days, next month was 26 days and now I’ve come on at 23 days. It might be nothing but I am really worried there is something underlying and will struggle to conceive or carry a baby full term. My period were also extremely painful a few days before and a few after but the pain isn’t as bad this cycle

I hope this all makes sense but is this normal? I would go to the doctors but I am asthmatic and am trying to avoid going many places at the moment

Sorry for yoour MMC. Have your periods always been painful, or just since the miscarriage? If they have always been painful and you get short cycles it could be endometriosis - I just had this diagnosed after after 15 years of troubles Hmm. If it's a new thing, I have heard that it can take a while for thing to settle down after a miscarriage. Might it be worth booking a telephone doctors appointment? My dad had one of these recently for a sore leg, and they diagnosed a "very likely" reason for it without him having to go in. That way if they do think it's an issue you'll know, but hopefully they will just reassure you.

Thanks for replying! They never used to be painful just the last few cycles were! I am worried it could be endometriosis but because of it not being painful this cycle I'm hoping its not.

I might do that then! I didn't know it was a thing!

If it's a new thing, I wouldn't worry about endo as I would have thought you would have had pain before now. In any case, it takes years to do any real damage. Hope the doctors can give you some answers and good luck getting pregnant again, I hope it happens soon for you x
