Pain after childbirth 10 weeks postpartum - tell me I'm not the only 1

Hi, I gave birth naturally (only entonox pain relief) on March 4th so baby is just over 10 weeks and I'm still in pain. I didn't need any stitches, my perineum was completely intact. I had piles straight after birth, then once they cleared up I had a fissure and I have had pain having bowel movements near enough every day since giving birth. The pain is pretty much 9/10 most days and remains sometimes hours after I've used the loo. I have spoken to GP who said they won't see me due to corona. I have several friends who have given birth and non have admitted to pain like this. I just need to know if anyone has experienced something similar? Is there any light at the end of this tunnel?

The pain could be caused by fissures. It is really the worst pain I have experienced. You need to treat the fissure seriously. Take a stool softener every day. Ask a pharmacy what would work for best in your condition. Try anusol or anusol HC cream and apply on the fissure as directed. Use witch hazel wipes and apply coconut or castor oil liberally before having a bowel movement. If things don't improve after few days call your GP. Also order a sitz bath from Amazon and use twice daily.

Am in virtually exactly the same boat as you op except I tore and had stitches and have been diagnosed with an anal fissure. I’ve been guven a cream to apply but struggling with the pain which radiates to bum in general. Told by gp that 3 months is early in recovery and to see how things are after 6. I’m taking lactulose but still experience painful bowel movements. May try other suggestions from @Literallyfedup , I know I need to up my water to help with movements
