Hey. Has anyone tried the crunchy but diet ? My mum just told me about it and says you have bowl of cereal for breakfast and another bowl for lunch and then have a meal for tea ?
Any one got any a advice or tips or anything. Much appreciated. Thank you x

I remember that advertised by a cereal company -to boost sales I assume? Terrible idea.

My top tip is to eat real food rather than cereal for two meals a day.

It works because it’s effectively a calorie controlled diet so you’d be better eating a wide variety of fruit and veg with lean protein instead.

Great idea if you want to be chewing the inside of your mouth/toenails by 10am because of the sugar crash and starvation 👍🏻

I think it's 30g of cereal per bowl. Which is tiny!

AllHallowsEve14 · 11/05/2020 16:35

Special K wasn't it?

Sameold2020 · 11/05/2020 16:35

Too much sugar. It's essentially a calorie controlled diet. A tin of Tesco minestrone soup is only about 40p and only has 160 calories and is really filling.

Eggs, bacon and mushrooms for breakfast would be less calories and more filling.

There was the Special K 'drop a jean size in 2 weeks' challenge years ago. I did it for 3 weeks and dropped 1.5 jean sizes. It's probably not the healthiest of diets but it gave me a boost in the right direction. I ate 2 bowls a day with skimmed milk then a sensible meal in the evening.

I weighed over 16 stone when I started the diet. I then got the courage to take up swimming.

I remember it from years ago. A friend of mine used to do it for a couple of weeks before every holiday/special occasion. It all went back on very quickly afterwards.
