Really heavy period, lower abdomen pain

Yes I’m up really late. I can’t get comfy lying down as I’m having severe lower abdomen/bowel pain. I am also having a heavy period but this pain is something else, it’s awful. Can anyone tell me if this sounds normal and if I can do anything to release it? Yesterday I had the most horrendous bloating. I felt like my insides were being stretched to capacity and now the muscles are killing me.

I'd recommend calling 111. Hope you feel better soon Flowers

Could you be pregnant and misscarrying? Sorry no nice way to ask that. ☹️

You should give 111 a ring and be prepared to go to A&E. In your position I'd probably just head to A&E directly. You need to be checked out.

No, no chance of pregnancy

Ring 111 op. Probably quite quiet at the moment!

Also hope you're OK 😀

I’ve called my doctor this morning and been prescribed Buscopan. Don’t know what that’s like so we’ll see if it helps. The muscle pain seems just slightly less for now. Thanks

Glad you spoke to someone. Hope you're feeling better.

Don't hesitate to head to hospital if you feel worried though.
