Period aches

Does anyone else get aches in random body parts during their period? Today I got my first period since having DD (10 months) and my lower legs and ankles feel like I've been on a really long run. They are sore and achey and right now hurt more than my lower back/pelvic area. Is this common?

Yes I would say it is. Especially it being your first period since you’ve had your daughter. Mine were heavy and drained me!! Hot bath and a cup of tea. X
