Numbness in upper back

Can someone please help me out! I had my son nearly 3 years ago ( not sure if this is linked or the cause) but ever since I have had a numb spot around the size of a tennis ball on upper back right side- just beside my spine. The skin is completely numb however if I nip it or scratch it then it’s a very weird electric/cold sensation and slightly painful. I also have awful sciatica not sure if that is linked either. Been to the doctors a few times about it and they just brush it off. But I can’t help but be worried as it’s obvious it’s something to do with my nerves! Any help or advice would be appreciated :)
