Bleeding after 3 years with implant?

I had the implant in august 2017 after having another baby. I’ve had no bleeding at all. Yesterday I had like a pain/ache in what felt like my left ovary? and sorry for too much info but some blood now when I wipe?

I know contraception can mess with your periods but as I’ve had nothing at all until now, I’m unsure wether to be worried or not? Could I have someone else’s opinion please?

The implant doesn't release a constant flow of hormones, it releases more when it just goes in and less when it's ready to be taken out. The drop in hormones is allowing your natural cycle to break free.

(Aren't they meant to be replaced after 3 years?)

The implant only lasts for 2 to 3 years so it is likely it coming to the end of its effectiveness. It wont do you any harm but you cant rely on it for contraception until you get a new one.
