12 week pp wind - embarrassing

Hi, I’m new here and looking for advice. I would usually go straight to my gp but with the way things are these days I don’t want to go if it’s not absolutely necessary. Basically I’m having really bad wind. I thought it’d clear by now. But every evening mainly when I get into bed to put my toddler down and feed my baby I start having really bad wind. Smells awful and loads of it. It’s horrible and embarrassing if my husband comes in during bedtime routine. Is this normal? I also sometimes have wind that seems to travel from the back and down to the front and out that way... this sounds so strange but I don’t know how else to describe it. Sorry for the gross post. Do you think I should see a dr? Is it something that will go away on its own, is it urgent or can it wait? I really don’t want to have to go to the dr?! I was thinking of maybe doing an online women’s health physio appointment.

Get it checked if you can just incase. I'm sure this can be discussed over a phone appointment. Are you going your pelvic floor exercises. They can help a lot. After my birth all my below areas were so loose and (tmi) I couldn't control gas like i did before. I can't remember how long but it felt like ages. Like I felt if something wanted to come out it came before I could even register it (sorry again tmi).
Pelvic floor exercise is a pain but it helped a lot. Also make sure you're eating healthy. 12 week olds are stressful and it can be hard not to eat junk for concierge and forget about your health. Probiotics may help too.
