Boob so sore I feel sick

Ugh. I have loads of cysts. I get them. I've had a mammogram and ultrasound very recently so hopefully anything too concerning has been ruled out.

I've had cysts drained. I sometimes get infections and end up with antibiotics.

I've got another cyst. It's big and hard and really sore. It only came on in the last two or three days. The pain is spreading out from the cyst. (I have a high pain tolerance) but right now my right boob is so sore I feel sick.

I've got a warm compress and have taken ibuprofen. Is there anything else I can do because I obviously can't bother the NHS with this just now.

Of course you can "bother" the NHS.
If you leave it without treatment you could get a more serious condition and end up competing for one of those intensive care beds ffs.

Call 111 or whatever! Get sorted.

No need to be a martyr

Get it seen to. The NHS still expects to deal with stuff other than Covid-19.

Thanks for the encouragement. It does actually help knowing other people don't think you are being a bother.

The good news is the ibuprofen and hot water bottle are making a massive difference. So all though I still feel rotten, I no longer feel awful.

I'll call the GP on Monday as I'm going to need a referral to the breast clinic (again) to get this fecker drained.
