Hi All, long time lurker never really posted!! I’m 7 days late for my period... done a test since day 2 every day it is negative and I’ve used a variety of types. I have a 9 month old baby and are not in a position to have another so panicking. My and OH have had adult time but always used protection... I guess what I’m asking is has anyone had the same and it’s been late for non pregnancy reasons. I have been very stressed and anxious this month because of Coronavirus and many a night has been spent crying! Could this be the reason. surely a BFP would’ve shown up by now???

Yes, more often than I'd like. Stress makes longer cycles, with all this Virus stuff you're probably just stressed.

Thanks. It has been a very difficult month. Fingers crossed AF arrives soon. Problem is the longer AF takes to arrive the more stressed I'm getting Confused think I need a gin!!

Hoping someone can help, advise or empathize. Had an endometrial ablation in December 2018. I’m now back to square one, lining has completely grown back, I have been bleeding non stop and heavily for 91 days now. Am on urgent list for hysterectomy but even that was 9 months long before covid-19 has taken over - God knows how long it will be now. I have tried cerelle pill, tranexamic acid and am now on 30mg of norithisterone daily and nothing is helping. I’m starting to think I will bleed to death. Doctor said there is nothing more she can give me (except iron). I can’t even go downstairs some days because of the flooding. What on earth am I going to do?

@MilkTray2018 ring your GP? Sounds horrible. Flowers

ahran2k · 03/04/2020 09:55

@MilkTray2018 call your GP and see if she can put you on a different progesterone tablet may be norithisterone does not work for you. Also please remember to take the medicine at exactly the same time everyday because hormonal treatment looses its effectiveness even if you delay the pill by couple hours. To be the most effective it has to be taken within half hour time of the next dose time.

Thank you @ahran2k, really appreciate this advice. I knew it was important for the pill but didn’t realise it was the same for the noristhisterone. Will definitely watch out for this. Thank you.
