First period lasting ages!!

I stopped PP bleeding at 6 weeks. My baby is almost 11 weeks old and my period has been going on for 2 weeks with no signs of stopping. I'm so scared, but I'm having trouble with getting a doctors appointment.

I am so worried that I feel sick.

My first period after pregnancy lasted for about 4 weeks! My second pregnancy was the same. I had hormone tablets to stop it both times and it seemed to rest my cycle which went back to being monthly. Are you able to contact your health visitor or nurse at your surgery?

I was also very anxious about it and was back and forth to the gp. They put it down to hormones x
