Has the morning-after-pill has messed up my cycle?

Just wondering if anyone else's cycle has gone haywire after taking the morning-after-pill? I'm getting worried!

Took the MAP first week of February (condom malfunction). Period arrived a few days later, two weeks early. Then another period came 10 days after that, when it would usually have been due. And now, I'm a week late for my next period. Usual cycle is 23/24 days, I'm now on CD31 and it is nowhere to be seen.

I've taken several pregnancy tests, all negative.

I've never had to to take the MAP before, is this normal?! My periods are like clockwork, and the one time I've been this late is when I was pregnant.

We'd like to start trying for another baby in the next 6 months or so, and I'm really neurotic that it's going to take ages to get my cycle back on track.

@Mybobowler Did things settle down for you?
My husband and I had a slip up the day after my period. I took the MAP roughly 40 hours later. 10 days later I had a bleed that was lighter than normal but lasted about 4 days(this would have only been day 17). At the time I just presumed this was my period but I am now on day 35 after that and still don't have my period this month.

I am normally 30 days and have taken 2 tests both negative. If I was pregnant I would be 7 weeks by now so surely it would show up ?

The time I used the MAP I had a period 2 weeks later but then my next cycle was 65 days long

@PineappleTart Gosh really! I also took 2 1.5mg tablets as advised by the pharmacy due to weight so I guess ive had double the amount of hormones!

Hi @Valand123 - sorry, I haven't checked back on this. My period arrived shortly after I posted this, so it was a 31 day cycle in the end. Such a relief! I had no idea the MAP could cause such havoc. Hopefully I'll be back to normal now, and I hope you will be too!
