I had my first ever attack of cystitis over the weekend. Wow, that was painful!
I took Boots otc sachets, ibuprofen and paracetamol and felt better reasonably quickly. 36 hours later and I've started to feel uncomfortable again. No pain, no blood in pee this time, but the urge to go is strong with little void. I went to the pharmacy and he wouldn't give me otc meds again, said I need to get antibiotics from my GP.
I'll give them a call in the morning to hopefully get a phone consultation but I'm not sure I'll be able to get one atm.
It's not as bad as over the weekend, there is no pain - but it clearly hasn't cleared up. Should I pursue a GP appt tomorrow or let things take their course and see what happens?
