I'm 27 years old and me and my husband were never able to have penetrative sex ..I'm able to put 2 fingers freely and even 3 when I use ky jelly..but can feel a bulge on the upper wall side and it's visible from outside too..it feels long..I'm too tired of everything and I'm super scared to even go to a doctor..me and my husband badly want to have a baby..I think it's either a prolapse or something serious..I'm feeling so weak
mentally because of this.. I need your help everyone..I just can't discuss it with anyone else..

I know its scary but seeing a doctor or specialist gynaecologist is your best bet. Do you have a close friend who could go with you?

BecauseReasons · 07/03/2020 10:33

You need to book a doctor's appointment, OP. Burying one's head in the sand never helps.

SmellyBeard · 07/03/2020 10:43

A prolapse shouldn't prevent you being able to have sex (as far as I know).

Why can't you have sex, is it painful?

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 07/03/2020 10:44

Is it your cervix you can feel?

elliemcx · 07/03/2020 10:56

could be a bartolin cyst, they are very common and nothing to worry about, but just get it checked out by a medical professional.

Userme297 · 07/03/2020 12:55

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor I don't think it's my cervix..

Userme297 · 07/03/2020 12:57

@elliemcx when I googled I saw that Bartholin cysts are found outside vagina..I'm way too worried..planning on seeking medical help asap

Have you tried different positions and can’t get it in whichever way you try? I have a prolapse (and what you describe about the lump sounds like one) but I agree with PP it would be unusual if it meant you physically couldn’t get a penis in. I know it’s tough but please go to your doctor, they’ll be able to give you answers Flowers

BlackCatSleeping · 07/03/2020 13:03

Well, either it’s nothing scary, in which case it’s not a big deal to get it seen to. Or it’s something scary, so you need to get it seen to. Either way, you need to get it seen to.

Userme297 · 07/03/2020 13:05

@greasyspooncafe I'm living in a different country and my close friends are all in home country..Was even thinking if I should go back and go and see the doctor with them..I don't have any siblings to share this with..and my mother is a single mother..father passed away while I was too young..so I can't tell this to her because she will be worried like anything

Userme297 · 07/03/2020 13:07

@ClubfootMaestro we have tried only missionary so far..and I'm really scared if I'll not be able to have babies

Userme297 · 07/03/2020 13:09

@BlackCatSleeping hope it's something not scary!!I'm looking forward to seek medical help..

Usually with a prolapse when you lie on your back it all kind of slides back to where it should be.

Have you had penetrative sex before with other partners?

Userme297 · 07/03/2020 13:20

@SmellyBeard no I have not had penetrative sex before

SinkGirl · 07/03/2020 13:23

How long has it been there - as long as you can remember or recently? Have you ever been able to have sex? This must be really worrying for you but chances are it’s nothing sinister - if it’s something like a prolapse it can be repaired, cysts can be treated. You really do need to be seen.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 07/03/2020 13:29

Do you use KY jelly when you try to have penatrative sex?

SmellyBeard · 07/03/2020 13:29

Does he have a big penis? Have you tried using lube?

You could try with you on top so you can guide his penis in yourself.

Lynda07 · 07/03/2020 13:29

You do really need to see a doctor, Userme, if only for reassurance.

Vaginal lumps/cysts are more common than people think. I found this:
www.healthline.com/health/womens-health/vaginal-lumps-bumps#see-a-doctor

Things like herpes is unlikely as you haven't had sex but there are plenty of other - benign - things it might be.

Please do seek medical advice. Better to do that than be scared of something that will probably turn out to be not serious.

Good luck.

I have tried to have sex after I have gotten married..since an year to be precise..but didnot give much attention since my partner said he couldn't feel that bulge and it was all my thinking..and he said we'll slowly do the process..like first one finger and then go on so that finally it will be painless....but after loads of googling I found that what I feel is not normal..there is a long bulge...I have resigned from my job two months back and we started trying properly after that..hope it will become alright..I'll seek medical help asap..

When you say it's visible, do you mean your dh can see it?
