Test of cure

Afternoon everyone

Just need a bit of advice.
Had an abnormal CIN2 last year and had the LLETZ to have it removed. Just had my test of cure smear and it's come back HPV positive but no abnormal cells and have got to go for a colposcopy. I'm not sure what this involves if I have no abnormal cells just hoping someone can give me some advice. Don't want them to find something that's not on the smear.

Hi I went and had the procedure and there was no abnormal cells so nothing was done I was put back on 3 yearly smears. Apparently you don't need to go on yearly ones. I'm still not sure about not being on yearly ones. I'm more worried about the HPV. Xx

Thanks for the update.
Due my test of cure next month and dreading it.
I was told I had hpv and biopsy showed Cin1/2 which is why I had the lletz.
When the results after the lletz ( about 3 weeks later) came back I was told that the results of what they'd removed showed HPV but no Cin changes.
I don't know how the Cin could have gone with the infection still prevalent and before actual lletz treatment.
It's all so confusing.

Let me know how you get on tho. Because I'm still unsure on what I should do. Weather to wait 3 years or do another one soon xx
