Hi all,
Just want a reassurance that I'm not going to be wasting a GPs time.
I gave birth over 3 years ago. Once waters had broke it was a very quick delivery, 1 hour, which resulted in a big head tearing out of me
. I had a second degree tear from it. The midwife checked that I was healing ok on her home visits and said I was so I was discharged from her. I also attended my post natal appointment at GP. However, I wasnt checked physically and nor did I have any concerns about this.
Onto present day and apologies for the ramblings. I have recently got into a relationship (childs father and I was not together during pregnancy) and have found that although sex is not painful, I dont enjoy it as much as there isn't much feeling in the vagina. To put it bluntly, I feel loose! My partner has not complained and doesnt have any grumbles!! Also, wearing tampons seems problematic as they dont seem a comfortable fit.
Part of me thinks, yeah, you need to get seen as this isnt right, but the other part is there are people out there with far more problems.
So people, please reassure me and give me the kick up the bum to make the GP appointment.
And thank you for reading if you've got to the end of this........go get yourself a glass of wine
