Upper leg pain with period?

This is a bit odd but I've noticed it more the past few years, whenever I have my period I get upper leg ache. It comes and goes and varies from the front to the back of my thighs, its like a growing pain sort of pain I suppose.

Changing position/hot water bottle eases it, I'm on day one today and it's really giving me grief as I'm sitting trying to work!

I've also been doing leg weights recently for the first time in my life and I wonder if thats causing the pain to be worse for some reason this time.

Anyone else get this?!

Yes I get thigh and inner thigh and bum pain on periods since I had a child. Strangely in similar places to pains I had in labour

I’ve been getting it over the last two or three years while I’ve been peri menopausal.

When I get really bad cramps the pain sort of runs down my leg to my knee. I’ve had it run down my ankle before and at that point I was vomiting for 10 hours.

My cramps and sickness has improved vastly since having a baby/going on the hormonal implant. I won’t suggest a painkiller, I found that even codeine wouldn’t touch it.

I got those! My grandmother used to call them 'drawing pains'.
