Hi ladies, I'm new here and have decided to post as I often find good answers to things I Google.

As the title says, had a big baby 8 weeks ago. I've been through forceps, episiotomy breakdown which is still healing, a mild prolapse which I am yet to see a gynecologist for, trying to get rid of nasty thrush and have postnatal depression.

I can't walk properly for the discomfort and often can't sleep with it all either. I've been on Sertraline for over 2 weeks but am still very up and down - anxious and in tears.

I see a women's health physio for the prolapse, and am doing her exercises. Plus I'm starting hypopressives soon. I'm a proactive, usually capable person, but with all this I am so miserable and even walking around Tescos is uncomfortable and therefore stresses me out.

I also have a possible granuloma on the episiotomy wound which is red and I think getting bigger. I'm pretty lumpy in my vulva / vagina at the moment which I never used to be. I also have a strange new kind of flap of skin under my left labia minora which is between the urethra and vaginal opening. One GP told me that's actually the inside of my vagina and that this flap is normal. I'm not sure I agree its the inside of my vagina. But another GP also said its normal without commenting further. But I never had this before I delivered and think its getting bigger and causing extra discomfort. Has anyone experienced this or heard of it before? I've googled so much only to come up with various cysts but they don't seem like this.

My gynecologist appointment is in two weeks and my GP has tried to get me in sooner but the clinic say I'm not urgent enough. I'm so miserable, anxious and depressed its unbearable.

Hey, if i remember correctly, it was actually the inside of the vaginal wall that i was seeing with that flap. Apparently its full of bits like that. I was able to see it because of the big baby i had and the episiotomy breakdown, which together made the opening much bigger and therefore see that sort of thing. For me, i think its a sign of how loose i am / was down there

Thank you! It’s a weird one isn’t it because all the stuff online is about lumps etc but this is definitely just skin on me. I might ask the GP to have a quick look for reassurance. Thanks for replying x
