Following a million Gynae issues, I now have been diagnosed with a vaginal infection (Strep A) and thrush (yay). Initially I was prescribed flucloxicilin which worked, but I don't think the course was long enough as the symptoms hadn't completely gone when it ended.
Now I've been given clarithromycin and I'm having horrendous side effects, I feel sick, dizzy, disoriented, anxious, I feel like I'm having heart palpitations.
This can't be right can it? I think I just needed more of the flucloxicilin to nuke this bastard!
Can the pharmacist change a prescription does anyone know? Getting hold of my GP is like trying to contact Kate Middleton!
