Pain during hysteroscopy and anxiety

2 years ago I had my ovaries removed as part of the testing prior to that I had a 'pipeline biopsy' (I think) and it caused a horrific amount of pain

I am now going back (on Monday) as I'm having problems again and I am likely to be having a hysteroscopy

And I am panicking big time - can anyone reassure me?

Oh and apparently they removed a couple of polyps D&C which have been sent to the lab. No sign of the mirena which was awol but seemed to show up on MRI, so had to go for an X-ray to check if it’s “elsewhere”!!

I had a hysteroscopy recently, during which they took a biopsy. It hurt a bit, but literally only for a few seconds- maybe 30. Pain reminded me of labour pains. So my summary is: yes it can be painful, but GA would be overkill. Everyone is different though. I had a hysteroscopy a few years ago and don't remember any discomfort at all. Maybe it depends on the doctor's technique? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Or possibly the condition of you uterus/endometriosis/previous surgeries

Seriously between the pippelle biopsy and the pain over this last week I think it's reasonable to suggest mine is 'delicate'
