Hello all,

I had a vaginal swab taken and today I was told to phone for my results. So I phoned and was told by the receptionist that there is “naturally occurring bacteria but I should let the doctor know if I become pregnant”. I’m wondering if anyone has any idea what this could mean/be? I do not need treatment but why would I need to inform the doctor if I get pregnant in relation to this? Very confused!

Thanks xx

I would ring back and get an appointment to be seen. Only the doc can explain with clarity what it means. Receptionists are very vague at most. X
