Experience of fibroids or cysts?

For the last couple of years I've always felt something hasn't been quite right. My left ovary was apparently folded up in one pregnancy but they said nothing else.ive told my Dr a few times the area around my left ovary gets very sore and feels very crampy in ovulation too. I have had much heavier periods since my son was born too. Always anemic. I often just don't feel quite right (probably the anemia) and the last few months especially I feel really aware of my womb area. Its not pain ful. It just seems irritated? It sometimes feels twingey. It sometimes feels crampy. If my son jumps on me it can feel like I'm on my period.

The last two months I've had pink discharge occasionally. I spot when I ovulate too.

Then last week I felt really aware of my womb area.

Today I went to the loo and the tissue was covered in bright red blood. From the front way! Definitely not the back way. I put a pad on for the school run. I'm still spotting but it's going browner now.

Not had a smear before but I'm having a hpv test tomorrow and sending it off.

Also I've just phoned the drs up to get an appointment. There are none available for weeks with a female so I'm booked in to see a nurse tomorrow that's apparently advanced. She will be able to deal withy symptoms according to the receptionist. I'm happy enough with this.

I just wondered if anyone else has experience of fibroids or cysts causing this?

I was told in pregnancy number one I had a fibroid too. Also with my second pregnancy I had bleeds and spitting like this and thought I was miscarrying several times. They always scanned me and said baby was fine. He was as he is now two.

I really hope I can get scanned and checked out properly. The chance of cervical cancer at 29 is unlikely isn't it?

I know in late for my smear but I was pregnant twice from being 25 and our surgery is so difficult to book with that I've just not for round to it. Thanks for reading. Please don't lecture me on the smear test

I have multiple fibroids and get that "heavy" sort of feeling in my lower pelvis and cramps at any time in the month. Often like a sharp stabbing pain too. I assume it's all related. At one of the ultrasounds for my fibroids I had a cyst greater than 5cm on one ovary which I had to go back to get checked a few weeks later and it had gone but it didn't seem to cause any symptons. I guess if you've got cysts that aren't just part of your cycle and are there all the time they could cause more problems. Don't stress too much!
