Pill breakthrough bleed, advice

I'm on my 2nd month on Gedarel combined pill. Just started week 2 of second month and noticed a breakthrough bleed. Had a scheduled bleed two weeks ago. How long does it take to get this in between bleeding under control?

Yes it's normal and super annoying. I think around a week. Can be alot more blood like than a normal period. But as always if you're worried go see a gp.

I'm not worried, just fed up. I'm on a lower dose combined pill because I'm 36. Ouch

Mine is continuous instead of monthly, which is why my breakthrough bleeding went on for weeks (!) in the beginning. It was more settled after a couple of months.
