Do I trust the dr?! Help (cervical polyp)

I was diagnosed with a large cervical polyp when pregnant after a heavy bleed. I completely forgot about this once baby arrived but I had my smear recently and I was advised to see dr as the large polyp was still there. A month later I saw the dr who said again there was a large cervical polyp that was usual, he referred me to the hospital. I went to the hospital last week and the dr said he couldn’t see a polyp 🤷🏻‍♀️ And wanted to change me from the mini pill to something else and for me to have a think and come back in a month. So do I trust this 4th person who says there is no polyp or ask for a second opinion as 3 other people had seen the polyp recently. Anyone been through anything similar?

A friend of a friend had a fist diagnosis as polyp and had been offered an operation for it. She was so down and upset abt it all. Then someone suggested to seek a second opinion. There was no polyp from the second doctor.
You can ask for a second opinion if you want have a peace. But seems people do have things like that.

Thank you for your reply. My next appointment has just come through so will see what they say this time. I’m feeling better about the whole thing now. Even if there is a polyp and it’s been missed this time it’s not the end of the world
