In your experiences, when did you stop producing milk? I discovered this morning that I still am, from one side only. My youngest is 9. Is this common?

I still was 4 years on but with any kind of boob discharge it's worth popping to the gp to check everything is ok

Okay. It doesn't look or smell pus-y, but I get that it might be an indicator of something else.

I'd get ot checked out just to be sure. I stopped a year and a bit after i finished breastfeeding.

I will. I expect I'm just leaky Grin but as no-one else has mentioned almost a decade later being normal I'd better get it looked at!

Hiya, I stopped feeding 1y ago and still get "colostrum" - after DD1 it persisted for 3y. Am fairly sure it is milk as it is both sides equally. Yours likely is too - hormone imbalance due to perimeno or menopause????? But yes why not make a GP appt for Jan.

I won't rule out meno, but I'm not quite mid-thirties so again, possibly unusual. I guess only a GP will know for sure!
