Hey everyone, I need other people's opinion and thoughts on this. I will obviously ask the nurse when I see her on Thursday but my anxiety is playing up that I'd like to hear your views!
Backstory:
I actually fell pregnant when I was 19 but I got an abortion as I wasn't financially stable nor was I ready to have kids. I fell pregnant the day after I got my implant taken out and I wanted to get it taken out was due to the fact I was bleeding heavy constantly for 3 straight weeks and I'm someone who can't tolerate it as it stresses me (I was working two jobs at the time), so during my bleeding episode I did not have sex at all yet I still somehow managed to fall pregnant the day after getting it taken out. The heavy bleeding stopped the day after removal but pregnancy didn't cross my mind in the slightest because obviously I hadn't had sex in almost a month and just thought it was because the implant was finally out my body. During my 2 and a half years with my ex we did have unprotected sex.
I am now 22 with a new partner who I've been with since May. He has never came inside me (I know you can still get pregnant from pre-cum) and we sometimes use condoms. I started lightly spotting on the 3rd December but it's became extremely heavy since the 15th December. The last time we had sex was the 12th December and we used a condom.
So my question is, can I still become pregnant even though it's really not that possible? I'm only concerned as I have became pregnant before even though I hadn't had sex in under a month when I was 19?
My plan was to get the implant taken out and to go contraception free for a month or so so my body has a break since I've been on the implant since I was 15 (I will be using a condom during the contraception free months just so I'm protected) and I'll be just sticking to my Rigevidon pill from now since I'll know for sure when my period will come and stop since you do a weeks break from the pill. *
