Does feeling "infertile" by being on the pill make you hate being on the pill

What I'm trying to say is "does the idea of not ovulating make you feel stagnant / infertile while on the pill?"

It is for this reason that I kind of want to get off the pill. Does anyone else feel the same way?

It does make me feel a bit this way yes. I have two children and am naturally very fertile so the pill makes me feel a bit incomplete woman wise, if you know what I mean

TheHumansAreDefinitelyDead · 26/12/2019 20:21

I don't have this at all Grin been on it for 30 yrs with just a break for DS1 and DS2

Women ought to spend most of their fertile years pregnant or breastfeeding, if nature had its way.

I see the pill as wonderfully liberating, you can be a sexual being without having 12 kids Grin

Not at all!

Well, no.

I'm on contraception for the precise reason of not wanting to be fertile. That's the point of it.

My worthiness and 'completeness' as a woman is not dependent upon my menstrual cycle.

Not sure what you mean by feel infertile? I don't ovulate naturally only when medicated but I don't feel any different normally to when I was on clomid TTC.
