Hello,

I have given birth over 3 months ago now, and doing physio therapy since giving birth which is helping but I am struggle with one stitch...
(I hope I'm not the only one) I have a stitch that will not dissolve and I have been to many doctors appointments to have it looked at but I just keep being put on a higher dosage of painkillers. They will not remove the stitch as it's imbedded into my skin and it has to ' naturally ' fall out. So my question is has anyone been in the same situation and what have you used to help the stitch fall out with some guidance? Any creams, oils etc

Thank you

I had a suture following third degree tear repair that took 17weeks to dissolve/fall out. It is normal. The type of suture material used for third degree tears doesn’t dissolve in the same way as normal suture
