Bleeding inbetween periods

Hi all
Wondering if anyone can help me out. I'm really stressed out and worried. My last period started on the 16th of November and lasted 6 days, norm for me.

I've always had blood clots during my period although I had quite a large one this time but nothing huge.

I've had sex twice since my period and bled a little after the 1st time, however since the 2nd time I've had brown rusty looking blood come our when I wipe. Sorry next but is tmi but I hat a wee feel up there and my finger was covered in the same colour of blood but it looked like it had little flakes on skin in it.
I'm due to see the nurse next week to get it investigated.

Has anyone had similar or know what it might be?

I've always had normal smear results, I'm due my next one in spring. About 1.5 years ago I had 2 periods in the same month but it never happened again and my gp wasnt concerned.

I am going through quite a stressful time at the minute and my stress levels are higher than they've been in a long time. I'married so only 1 sexual partner.

Anyone help a girl out or give some similar stories?

Yes please phone out of hours, don't want to worry you but I'd be concerned about an ectopic pregnancy. Stabbing pains and bleeding are a symptom.

Are you ok? Did you call OOH?

littlemissmonday · 09/12/2019 10:04

Hey yeah I'm fine. I didn't phone, I had some paracetamol and tried to sleep. My husband was foing out and I didn't have childcare to go to OOH.
How are you feeling today?
I've still got some of the sharp pains, and I have this wet kind of feeling (sorry tmo) that I normally get before my period is due. What a weird week.
Going to hold of phoning the gp at the moment. I'll see how the rest or the day goes and hopefully be fine doe my apt on Wednesday

I'm ok thanks. I didn't phone e the gp either as I didn't get a chance at work and I got home too late. I should have more time tomorrow.
Hows the pain now?

I had similar and turned out to be an endometrial polyp causing it

littlemissmonday · 12/12/2019 10:20

Hey, so pain has been a bit weird feeling a bit preaure in ovaries almost as the left side has a stitch in it, does that make sense?

I went to see the nurse yesterday and got a whole lot of bloods done, although no internal examination which I was a bit confused about. Having read into some of the things i was getting tested for I'm wondering if there might be something might be up with my thyroid.

How are you feeling snuggly?

Well blood results came back all fine, including the CA125, so really not sure what happened. I am due to have my period over yet next few days so I guess I'll just see what happens with that! 😬
