Heartbeat, BP, menopause

I'm menopausal, and even though I'm on HRT I still sometimes get the classic symptoms. I get episodes of feeling like my heart is pounding, feeling light-headed and anxious, but generally my pulse hasn't increased and BP is normal. The episodes rarely last more than a few minutes, but if I have several in a day I find them exhausting. I've had an ECG a few times in the last 10 years, just to check that the palpitations were menopausal and not an actual cardiac problem. ECGs were all normal.

So. This evening I have had another episode. But this time my pulse has been 88-90 (I'm unfit, so it's usually low-mid 70s) and BP around 135/65 (it's usually around 115/72). It's lasted over an hour, and I'm beginning to feel slightly drunk.

Do I need to worry? Is there anything I can do, or do I just have to wait it out, like all the other joyous experiences like the hot flushes?
