So last year I had my first smear test
The results came back irregular I went for a colonoscopy and was told I had cin3 and was sent for lletz to remove them
They advised that I would need another smear in six months time to check

The full experience do so stressful and I was so angry at myself that I had left it so long to get tested I was 28

Six months later I go for the test again and and the results were irregular again I was absolutely devastated and sick with fear ! That it seemed to have progressed so fast
I went for another colonoscopy and biopsy

It took 12 weeks for the results to come back it looks like it's good news the letter said the biopsy showed viral changes and they had no reason for concern therefore they were happy to discharge me to my GP and have another test in 3 years !

I am so happy that this is the case just confused to what viral changes are any ideas ? I if it had of been cin1 assuming they would of wanted to do another test in six months ?

Probably evidence of HPV, nearly 80% of women get it at some stage x
