They're all slim now. At at gynae appointment I was given a thick one to wear and it was great. So much comfier. It was wrapped so it was a normal one not a special NHS one. For the love of me I cannot find thick ones anywhere.

And don't start me on wings. Work of the devil.

Kotex (try Poundshop/Saver/Home Bargain)

Presumably you want something highly absorbent rather than how many cms it is.

Always Infinity is v comfortable and though slim, really absorbent. Never had it fail me.

I use reusable ones I got from Amazon. They are amazing 3 thin, 4 medium, 3 thick. So comfy and I dont know why but they absorb so.much without feeling damp. You just rinse them out, then wash in machine. I was a bit grossed out at the idea but I gave them a go and I just wish I did earlier.

I have used babies nappies tucked in my knickers at night when I had a heavy flow... zero risk of leakage Blush

Tesco night time cheapie ones (85p I think ) are amazing. Really similar to the ones I got given in the gynae unit.

They don't have wings but they're really thick, like sitting on a cushionGrin

I accidentally bought always discreet - not realising they are for wee!

They were great - buy them all the time now.

Reusables - if you can make yourself you can totally customise them. Most makers online offer a load of customise variations too.

They’re lot more absorbent o now, so don’t have to be thick.

hopeishere · 18/11/2019 08:31

I know they are more absorbent now but there was something nice about feeling a bit padded too. Even though as a teen I was all about the vespre super slim!! Orange box? Anyone remember them?!

Tena lady ones are great. I discovered them as I've been having horrible constant flooding. The night ones are probably more than you're after but the extra/extra plus are also padded and nice and long.
