Bleeding between periods and after sex

My cycle is usually every 27 days and I'm on day 20 today. During the middle of the night I went to the loo, and when i wiped i noticed i was bleeding. I wiped again and noticed a clot about the size of my thumbnail. I put a pad on but there's been nothing sice then.

Thinking about it, this happened about a year ago too but i just put it down to stress. I'm also bleeding a little after sex, but I've not thought much about it asi thought that perhapa we were a little rough.

Is this something i should bother the GP with? I'm anemic if it makes a difference, and theres no chance of pregnancy as i had tubal litigation when my last child was born seven years ago.

I had this and it was a cervical erosion. Easily treated but you do need to go to the GP.

Are you up to date with your smears?

It is very common, but something you should definitely ask your GP about.

No, I've just remembered that i forgot to make an appointment when i got the reminder through. I'll get onto that tomorrow.
