Urgent Refferal from a mole?

Hi, I have just returned from a doctors appointment in regards to a irregular mole which has recently grown. I'm 26 fair skinned with minimal exposure to the sun and they have made a urgent referral and now I'm freaking out. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Sorry this is very late. Did anything come of it? I had a suspicious mole removed on the side of my face that had different boarder and colour to it (half was black, half was brown). It was benign. Try not to fret! Easy said that done but majority of the time, it isn't anything serious. It's always best to be on the safe side though due to your risk.
