Treatment for adenomyosis

I was diagnosed with this today via an ultrasound.

Wondered if anyone had received treatment and what course? Periods are ridiculously heavy and painful. Transemic acid not helped.

I had a mirena coil fitted. 18 months on I have a tiny bit of bleeding every month or two so I'm really pleased it did it.

Mirena worked wonders for me too.

I had a Mirena and it made me really unwell. Seeing doctor this week.
