I've been having problems with gum disease since having my children. I think it was triggered by pregnancy. I was a bit slack at visiting the dentist so they got fairly bad.
However, after several visits to the hygienist and good oral hygiene (electric brush 2x for 2 mins, interdental brushes etc) they are not really getting any better. Pockets vary from 1-6.
At certain times of the month they bleed which also coincides with a flare up of acne on my jawline. Even my ear piercings go a bit sore? I think it's hormonal and maybe linked to my contraceptive implant.
Just wondered if anyone else had suffered / heard of this?
