A month or so ago I started with odd symptoms down below. Needed to pee a lot more frequently and had a strange colour discharge and slight itching (sorry for tmi). Symptoms weren't severe but noticeable enough for me to go to the gp assuming it was either a UTI or BV. They did a urine test there and then which came back fine. Also did swabs which were sent to a lab and also came back normal with no further action required.

Since then my symptoms have definitely improved/mostly gone. Would you accept that it's maybe just one of those things that has cleared up on its own or do I need to do some more digging? I asked the doctor what the swabs tested for and she just said 'any infection in that area'

Can anyone offer any advice? The strange colour discharge is still present. No smell or pain or anything. But it says online that this usually indicates infection so how come nothing showed up in my swabs?

I have had similar symptoms and have been diagnosed with Interstitial cystitis.

@FunOnTheBeach20 thank you for replying. How did they confirm the diagnosis?

I went to see a urologist and had a cystoscope and a bladder function test.
