Depo injection

Anyone ever had any problems with the depo injection? I'm thinking of switching to something else but I'm not sure what to swap to, I want something that has the least side effects and risks obviously but I think I want something that gets my periods back and doesn't take too long to get out of your system...

I know lots of people have, but I’ve had no problems and no side effects at all from it. I went back on it in between each child and had 3 children in 5 years so i had no problem with it coming out of my system.

@PotteringAlong yeh it's odd - my doc has said I can't be on it too long as it's not good for long term use but it did come out of my system quickly to then have my son - I just think I want my periods back... weirdly lol

I’ve been on it for about 12 years now, taking out breaks to get pregnant / be pregnant and no one has mentioned me needing to come off it.

I was on it for years pre and post children. Loved it never had any problems at all and no periods which is my preference.

Doctor made me come off it due to extended use risking osteoporosis so I now have the implant, am having the same experience so am happy.
