Okay soo long story but way back in July I was diagnosed with thrush, it wouldn’t go away and I finally managed to get rid of it early September but not without the long lasting symptom of yellowish discharge. I had lots of swabs at the doctors and all came back satisfactory. I’ve been swabbed for loads of std’s (including trich) and thrush and bv and have been told I’m fine! I spoke to a doctor for peace of mind recently and they said not to worry about my yellow discharge particularly because it wasn’t accompanied by a smell. That was less than a week ago and on Friday I noticed slightly brown red discharge ( which I didn’t smell ) but I was worried and my mom told me being halfway through my cycle it was probably just spotting (even though I’m on the pill) so I went with it. Haven’t done anything since like had sex or anything out of the ordinary and today and yesterday my discharge has gone orangey brown with a smell that I can’t put my finger on. It’s not an awful smell but I’m pretty sure it’s not normal. I’m due on my period next Monday so maybe could be a pre period thing but I’m starting to panick because I’ve been told I’m not suffering from anything and yet this surely isn’t normal symptoms! Also the brownish thing happens from time to time in my cycle but I’ve been told that’s not particularly out of the ordinary. I’m more concerned about why it’s gone abit orange and smelly.

Brief update: I have booked yet another doctors appointment (slightly panicking about the possibility of cancer) but closest one is the 11th of November so got a fair wait thus why I’m on here in the meantime.

Didn't want to read and run. You're doing the right thing, but no know I couldn't wait that long for an appointment. I would go to a GUM clinic and get tested again for everything. I think they do smears too?

@Chupchup I’m at uni and have looked and there doesn’t appear to be a GUM clinic close by. I don’t have much choice but to sit and wait.
