Hi, I had novasure in July '18 and they put in a mirena coil while I was under. After a couple of months my periods stopped completely but this week I've had one and I'm feeling horrible with it.
Does this mean the mirena hormones are wearing off already? I'm really scared my periods will come back as before (heavy loss / anaemia / having to take time off work) and can't find anything on Google about having both procedures which is worrying me.
The other thing is that I'm 48 years old, could this be meno related? I'm so confused as to what's going on, I'd got happily used to not having to worry about all this stuff!
