Brown discharge with black stringy bits

Hi,

So me and my husband have been ttc since June. I was due on my period yesterday and got nothing. Today I've been bleeding but it's brown and just now I went to the toilet and it had black stringy bits in it. I do have a picture but wasn't sure whether to put it on or not.

Is that normal? I've never had it before.

Any advice would be great.

Yeah it's normal.
That's just the old stuff that's been there since last month.
