Period stop and starting

Hi

So my period came on as usual for a week, when it stopped I got pink yolky discharge for 24 hours and then the period came back on really heavy?! 22 years of period and this has never happened. I am not pregnant.

Anyone any idea?

I have been getting UTI type symptoms but tests all clear.
