Didn’t know where else to put this...

My hairs falling out. Badly. I’m 27 and only wash my hair 2 times a week, sometimes more depends on how bad it needs washing.

But every time I brush it and wash it, it falls out. Badly. Like clumps.
My partner doesn’t think it’s too bad but it’s making me more stressed.

I don’t know what to do! Help a mumma out!

Do I call gp?

It could be stress related hair loss in that case it will grow back or hormonal are you or have you been pregnant or breastfeeding?if that's ruled out maybe worth booking a docs appointment to get your thyroid checked out simple blood test hope that helps know what it's like when it comes out in clumpsSad

I’ve had an early miscarriage in the last 2 months so it could be that or stress related :(

Bless you I'm really sorry to hear that, maybe a mixture of both think if it as a trauma to the body some people it shows in other ways e.g weight gain/loss and extreme stress can cause
hair unfortunately try using vatika black seed oil to treat your hair with, just to improve strength and vitamins if you need to ...look after yourself eventually it will grow back sending you big hugs x

I'm the same. I have to declog my brush and vacuum the carpet every time I do my hair. My parting is becoming more obvious and I have teeney little mini partings splitting off from it. Probably a genetic thing as my mum, who's only mid 60's, is now very sparse.

There is this advert on at the moment that's promoting some sort of shampoo that's meant to reduce hair loss. I don't know what it's called but it claims it's 'Germany's no. 1 woman's shampoo' so you could try googling that. There's also some sort of (very expensive and horrific sounding) treatment where you can get injections into your scalp. I haven't got as desperate as that yet though!

Low iron is a common cause of hair loss in women. Mine starts falling out when my iron levels get too low. Ask for a blood test to check your ferritin levels (iron stores).
