My periods are normally very regular, I had the copper coil fitted 6 months ago which made them heavier and last a day longer but my cycle length remained the same.
This month they appeared exactly a week early and have been a normal/heavy flow consistently now for a week which is quite different to my normal cycle where I have a couple days of very heavy bleeding and then It settles down and eventually stops after 5 or 6 days.
Why would it be so different this month? I can't think of anything that could affect it?
On the first day I also had a large very firm clot which was quite unusual.
