Hello everyone I’m looking for some advice / peace of mind over the weekend. I’m currently 29 weeks pregnant with baby number 2, I had all my blood tests for all the checks they do like hiv etc and everything came back fine. Last week I noticed on my Vagina lip a brown mole/skin tag has appeared. I ignored it at first and thought it’ll just go away but it hasn’t. It’s a bit uncomfortable when it’s rubbed against something I.e if I’m doing a lot of walking or whatever. I’m paranoid it’s something more sinister. Stupidly googled it and some sites say skin tag, some say skin cancer, some say hpv, some say genital warts. Il be phoning the doctor Monday but I just wanted some peace of mind over the weekend if anyone else has been through anything similar. I’ve also been waxed a month or so ago and since being pregnant it hasn’t grown back very well and I’ve had a few ingrowing hairs but I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. It’s literally just a small brown bump, dark brown. It does move and it feels soft. Sorry for tmi, thank you

I had a very sore mole type bump which eventually started bleeding. On examination by doctor it was just an ingrowing hair. I thought it was a mole too.
If you have waxed then that is likely to be it. Get it checked anyway and don’t worry google and other sites always suggest really scary illnesses not usually the case.

Skin tags etc are common! I've got a few, they just appeared. The doctor can tell you immediately if it's that, which is more than likely. Just go tomorrow and stop googling! All the best.

Yeah that’s what mines like, this morning it’s quite itchy and it’s started to bleed ever so slightly. I have doctors at 11 but of corse I’m a nervous wreck now thinking the worst, hopefully it will be ok

How did you get on, OP?

Emmaplustwoxx · 23/09/2019 16:59

Doctor looked and said it looks like an infected ingrown hair or sweat gland. He said it’s nothing to worry about and gave me some cream for the infection and says it should go away on it’s own. Thank you for your messages
