Would you see the GP over this?

Asking here as I don't really want to take up a gp appointment unless necessary. (Proof checked and it's long so I apologise)

A bit of health background I was sterilised in 2018 and just before that it was discovered I had cin3 cells during a smear. They were removed with the lletz procedure 4 months before I was sterilised. I suffer from IBS and have been able to control it through diet most of the time but stress is also a trigger as was my period starting. Periods been regular since I started at 14 I'm very close to 40 now. Always lasted 4 days no spotting and got lighter after having dc as did pms.

In Jan this year periods started to get heavier I originally put it down to me getting older and me getting back on track health-wise after being poorly with a vitamin d deficiency. Since June this year I've started spotting for 3 to 4 days then having a heavy period for a day or 2 and my cycle started to get shorter. In July I started having sleeping problems was getting tired easier and started to struggle sleeping. It became harder to fall asleep and I was waking lots during the night. I had this with vitamin d deficiency so bought some tabs and started to take them hoping they would help. Then I started to start having more IBS attacks and I'm struggling with my temp I want to call them hot flushes but not sure if that's what they are I suddenly feel like my whole body is stood next to a fire and my skin starts to get a tingly prickly feeling. This last for a couple of mins then goes. I started to notice that it happens most around the time I start to spot but has happened a few times in between periods. Last month I was nearly a month late I didn't notice too much at the time as holidays tend to be stressful I have 2 DC with sen and the older 1 was struggling really badly as he started yr 10 this week.

I've been taking the extra vit d for nearly 3 months now and feel no different so I'm not sure if it's something to do with my hormones as I am getting older. I was wondering if anyone else would go to GP if they went through similar or is it something or nothing.

Sorry only just seen this the only appointment I could get was a week on Monday so a bit of a wait but hopefully will find out what's going on.
Had an awful night's sleep couldn't settle for ages and then woke up having a hot flush I sat on the bathroom floor next to the bath trying to cool down. Trying to do things with the DC has been hard I can't be as active as them as I'm so tired and starting to ache and if we sit down to colour or read I start to doze off.
