Has anyone tried any of these and would you recommend them? I'm looking for myself initially for nightimes, as I'm struggling to wake myself up often enough to change pads. My DD is being investigated though for precocious puberty and at her age I'm sure she'll struggle so thought they could be helpful for her too.

I got some last month. Really impressed. I use them on their own on light days. On heavy days and night I use as back up to tampax. I was worried they wouldn’t lock away damp feeling, but they do, in fact better then a pad.

Ooh I'm interested in these. I also wondered if they leak through to your clothes.

What brand do people have?

ThePhoenixRises · 31/08/2019 21:08

I have Modibodi and Cheeky wipes

I use Modibodi on heavy days, (just the pants and no leakage through to clothing), cheeky wipes on lighter days only, as I did leak through on to clothing on heavier days.

I have seen an offer for Tulip pants so might try them as they are on offer at the moment.

Yes I have some from cheeky wipes. It's so nice to be able to just wear normal pants during your period, so much more comfortable. During the super heavy day or two I back them up with washable pads also from cheeky wipes. They had an offer on to clear their first version as they've bought our a new one, so may be worth having a look if it's still on to get a good deal as it is an expensive initial outlay.

I have a single pair of Modibodi pants, and I'm about to buy a multipack, because I haven't bled on my sheets since I used them. On my heaviest night, I'd use a mooncup and two sanitary pads and still leak all over the bed, but the pants let me sleep through the night in comfort. I still need to use a mooncup, but they are so comfortable, effective and easy to use.

I love them
I wear them during day but prefer cloth pad at night. More bulky but breathable x

@FedUpOfItNow I got mine from Modibodi. Also got a swimsuit as was spending a lot of time at the beach with questionable toilet facilities. Swimsuit was great as well.

I recently started using a cup which I was sceptical about but I'm so glad I did
Apart from it holding more I always got so hot and sweaty when sleeping with pads on and they almost always shifted in the night

I think the underwear is a good idea but for your DD I would recommend the cup because of sleepovers etc there so much more discreet and u don't have anything to discard (apart from aunty Flo itself)

Thanks for starting this thread. I’ve been dithering about buying some for my daughter and have just purchased some Modibodi ones to try.
