So I have had an issue with this for about 2/3 months and after using canesten pessaries twice decided I should go to the doctors. I had swabs taken and was given the tablet for thrush as well as more cream.

It came back that I had BV so was prescribed metronidazole (4 tablets as one dose!!) and yet still no improvement. Rang doctors again and have been prescribed metronidazole for a week, hydrocortisone cream and six pessaries!!

Has anyone else had it this bad? It’s all external - no problems weeing and no discharge or anything.

I am sincerely hoping this stops it. It’s really getting me down. It’s not all the time but when it kicks in it’s like I could never stop scratching. I don’t at all but good lord - vagisil have made some money out of me lately!!

Google lichen sclerosis and have a look with a mirror

I'd suggest some natural yoghurt for the outside lady bits. Should cool the itching down a bit.

I had some form of super thrush in last month of pregnancy and was driven mental with it. So I totally sympathise!

I had something like this....GP said skin was very thin and cracked and gave me Epiderm ointment for it. Cleared it up in a week or two after suffering for months! I think it was to do with the pill I was on, as I came off it around the same time.

I don’t think I have anything like that Cadburys I’ve wondered about that before. It’s not something I’ve noticed.

It’s woken me up in the night before - that’s not happened for a bit thankfully.

Still no improvement - I could cry right now. Taking the tablets, using the cream and used two pessaries so far. No improvement at all - if anything it’s possibly worse!

I just feel rubbish. I notice it more when I’m at home - when I’m out and about it’s not so bad. I just feel like this isn’t getting better and no one can tell me what it is ☹️

I spent £25 on treatment and it’s not made any difference. I want to cry.
